I'm meeting with my publishing agent on Friday. This requires driving to Portland. I dislike long drives. I think I'll need a new playlist to accompany me, but I tend to pick the same old tried and true songs from my library. I think I need some good suggests, anyone?

Finally finished the first draft of my book. I feel like this deserves a celebration even though first draft is far from completion.

I keep trying to think of fun things to do, or things I haven't done in awhile that I should do because they're fun. So far I've come up with only two that I really want to do: go to the beach and build a giant sandcastle (it's not quite warm enough for that for me yet) and go play mini golf. I cannot remember the last time I played mini golf but I think it may have been when I was still in middle school.

Success! I have finally...finally...at least for the time being, broken my never-ending story writer's block! That's right people. Who wrote nearly fifty-seven pages of text in the last twenty-four hours? Me, that's who. I think I need to celebrate...aside from the ridiculous dance I did when I finally (purposefully) stopped for the day. Take that malfunctioning brain!

I think I need to go talk to a shrink about everything with Alastair.

Tonight's 'I've never seen this before but it's on TV' movie is....Raiders of the Lost Ark. Apparently a lot of the movies I've never seen feature Harrison Ford. Go figure. I can't sleep. Can ya tell?

Blast from the past much, I couldn't sleep last night and wound up finding an airing of A League of Their Own playing on one of the channels. Definitely in my top 5 all time favorite movies. Now, I could go ahead and start listing all the reasons why this movie is awesome, but I really don't think I need to. That is all, thank you for your time!

For the first time ever in my life, I am sitting through the Original Star Wars trilogy. It's nice to finally get some of the joke references in other shows and movies that I didn't get before. You would not believe how many Porkins jokes there were among soldiers.

I'm getting sleepy though and the last one, Return of the Jedi?, is coming on now. Not sure I'm gonna make it through this one, but I don't want to subject myself to caffeine and wind up up all night.

I have had the worst case of writer's block ever. This is atrocious. I'm on a deadline, I can't afford to push it back but I think I might have to. Instead of working on it I keep wandering the house cleaning, going to visit Alastair, going for random walks and browsing the web aimlessly. I cannot focus for the life of me and it's driving me insane. I either have too much on my mind, or I've written myself into a hole and don't feel like writing out of it. Damn my brain.

I fail at concentrating tonight. I think I need to get out more.

I cleaned the entire house today in two hours, including the bathrooms and the kitchen. This either means I'm already a really clean person...or I had entirely too much energy when I woke up, which was before the sun today. That makes me sound like I'm on some kind of drug, I think. Moving on from my cleaning capabilities. I'm thinking of getting a fury little pet of some kind. It's just me in the house and that's getting kind of old, which may or may not explain cleaning the mostly already clean house. This whole post is completely pathetic isn't it?
